Following the launch of a book on corruption in the Liberian government, a Canadian investor Len Lindstrom has alarmed that unknown persons want to take his life.
Speaking to reporters Wednesday in the capital Monrovia, Mr. Lindstrom said since he launched the book titled: Corruption 101-Liberia Style
last Sunday, he has received numerous calls on restricted numbers, and has also come in contact with persons who threatened to attack him.
The 618-page book records key events, facts and laws pertaining to the case Liberty Vs Ministry of Lands, Mines and Energy and Government of Liberia
It narrates the company’s fight for justice in the midst of what the author described as gross corruption, extortion, economic sabotage, impunity, violation of court injunctions, bought-off lawyers, tampering with official Court records, and repeated flagrant assault against the Honorable of Liberia.
Lindstrom is president and Chief Executive Officer of Liberty International Mineral Corporation which started operations in Liberia
in 2004 and alleged he won a clear and decisive judgment in the Civil Law Court on 11 March 2011.
Meanwhile he said that he will not flee the country but will stay put in Liberia until justice is done.
